The nitro can gives it an amazingly creamy and fluffy off white head. The color is nice, a crystal clear deep gold.
The flavor is, different. There are tastes recognizable from similarly canned Guinness. Some grassy grains come through, as well as an off putting metallic taste. Hops do provide a little bitterness.
It's not getting any better as it warms, unfortunately. I'm glad this was a gift. To put it plainly, it just doesn't taste good.

A - The Cascading pour was just intense and wonderful to look at, it ended up creating a strong, creamy head. Super thick and puffy. The beer itself was a light gold, almost crystal clear. Really nice to look at.
S - Not too much coming from this, kind of a basic malt smell with a bit of sweeter fruit.
T - Really was let down here. It was almost like a richer, creamier, coors original. I feel bad making that comparison but there just wasnt a whole lot too it. It was certainly bready and maybe a bit of banana in there at the end.
M - Very light and easy on the mouth, not too much going on.
Seems like any basic american pilsner or lager. Just not a whole lot too it other than appearance. This is a great aesthetic beer but a poor drinking beer.

1 Pint Nitro-can poured in to an imperial pint...
I haven't had this beer in ages and I've always wanted to revisit it, but I've just never had the chance. The beer had that awesome cascading effect as I poured it, automatically making it look very promising. It had a nice golden color, very similar to clover honey. A slightly off-white head formed and stuck around for a bit, and then deflated in to a film of bubbles covering the beer.
The aroma is of sweet grain, but ends with a slightly acidic sting. The grainy sweetness is in the taste. There is also a mild hop. A sour metallic taste begins to creep out at the end and lingers a bit after the bready finish. The mouthfeel is very smooth and thin. I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's watery, but there is a lacking of substance.
The beer is very easy to drink and is a great product to get a person in to better beer, but it still leaves much to be desired. I do remember it being more palatable on nitro-tap. Until then...2.5
