Light, cloudy yellow hue, loose, soapy foam that lingers. Slightly acidic, citrus taste at the front of the first few sips but settles in to a more balanced banana taste with a hint of cloves and mango (not as much mango as other hefe weizens). A sweet taste comes through but this is offset by citrus. It's also 5.7% which is above average for a weizen, and you wouldn't know it with the rather light, dry finish. Slightly more bitter than sweeter weizens in the vein of Franziskaner or Weihenstaphaner.

Pours deep yellow, hazy with a very nice and wide white foam head with excellent retention. Smell is right for the style, clove, bananas, yeast, wheat, some sweet notes. Taste is also right, bananas are defenitely there and spices are mild, wheat flavor is also mild and bitternes is low., very refreshing. Medium body with medium and controlled carbonation. Overall very nice hefeweizen, worth to try.

Hazy bright yellow color with a huge thick mushroom head with great retention and leaving good laces.
Aroma with lots of banana initially, yeast and some spices and grass.
Flavor of bread malt, spices, wheat, cloves, yeast and finishing with grassy hops. Dry aftertaste and relatively bitter for the style.
Light body with good carbonation.
Yeasty, not that complex, but thankfully not sweet and quite hoppy for the style.

BB 6-12-06. Great lasting white head and a golden clowded beer wit some yeastchunks. Nose is very hoppy green and shows wheatmalt next to it. Spicy hops remembering bit of brett but certainly clean and not infected. Missing banana but this fresh nose makes up everything and more citrussy like. Very dry taste and quiet strong for the style with 5.7 that isn't noticable and fitting brew. Missing bit of body and/or hopbitterness but a very enjoyable brew.
