A very light lager. In comparison to an American lager. Not what would be expected from a discount brand.
Serving was from a standard brown bottle. The colouration was a yellow colour; when poured resulted in a nice head, with little, but nice lacing. Try not to serve too cold (around 0 C), since this might reduce the lacing, but does increase the flavour rather than the standard 4-8C temperature.
The aroma was bitter-sweet, with noticeable hops. The overall taste was crisp, clean, and on the dry side, with minimal metallic bite.
The brew was slightly watery in my opinion, and verry easy to drink, as long as you keep it very cold. When this brew begins to warm up, I don;t think it would be in the glass long, suggest pouring it down the sink if you allow it to get above 12C.
All-in-all, an excellent beer for the cost conscious.

When I rate a beer, I go by my first instinct. I never seek out other reviews so as not to taint my first opinion. This is a good beer and I was surprised the rating wasn't higher on this site. Everyone has a different palate so that's alright.
A: Typical pale lager. medium carbonation and a head that stuck around for a less than a desirable amount of time.
S: Wow just fantastic. Very malty. Smells like the inside of a candy shop. Not much hops on the nose though.
T: Like the nose it is very malty. Sweet with a slight grainy taste. Aftertaste isn't great. It says on the can they brewed the beer using "North American" hops, I'm assuming that means Cascade or US Fuggle etc. I didn't taste any. This seems to be a strict malt only beer.
M: Easy drinking, very sessionable. Have a few if you want.
O: I liked it. it smells great, tastes great and has a low ABV. This will quench your thirst after an epic day on the bike.

355ml bottle poured into a Stella Artois chalice. ABV 4.8%.
A - Poured a clear gold with a thin head. Head vanishes to nothing. No lacing.
S - Grains and some hay. Overall pretty light.
T - Light sweetness, mild hop bitterness, slight metallic note in the finish.
M - Medium carbonation, medium body, crisp finish.
O - Just above average but nothing memorable.
