A: Dark brown semi-opaque with little visible carbonation, appears to be filtered and is topped with 5 fingers of grey beige head.
S: Malts, lager yeasts, a hint of watery coffee, cocoa, snow.
T: Dark, malty, molasses, light coffee, toffee, cocoa, snow, hint of metallic.
M: Medium light body, medium low carbonation.
O: Not bad for this style. Got it at Metro, Kunming, drank Sept 13th, 2014. Slightly lighter than some of the standard bearers for this style, but well done.

On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. A slightly murky dark beer with little head & zero lacing. The taste is on the malty side with vague molasses notes. Not particularly noteworthy but noffensive. Since it looks & smells like so many worthy stouts or porters, I see an identity problem as it comes across as watery yet flavorful.
