Appearance - Dark/amber color almost bronzelike. Minimal head no lacing.

Smell - Contrary to other reviews I do not get an overpowering banana smell. Seems to be more of an English Ale smell to me.

Taste - Immediately pick up on the sweetness of this beer. Subtle banana flavors finally emerge. Finishes clean with minimal bitternes. Very watery at first.

Overall - I wouldnt say I dislike this beer, but was very let down despite the anticipation I had for this beer. Below average in my opinion. Would not revisit this beer.

16.9 Oz bottle poured into a tulip glass.
Been wanting to try this forever

A- Clear dark orange with a quarter finger of head.

S- Smells like a banana, no joke. Overly ripened banana with a lot of underlying sweetness. The banana is so dominant its really all you can smell.

T- A lot of banana obviously, in all parts of the mouth, its not overwhelming like smell led on to be. It ends clean and crisp with a pleasant banana finish. Its a nice change of pace and pretty refreshing, this could go well on its own or with a desert. A slight malt profile but no flavors really stand out.

M- Easy to drink and finishes really clean and crisp. Very refreshing.

O- This is a pretty nice beer. I was hoping that it had more flavors pop out then just banana but it was a nice change of pace that needs to be tried once by everybody.

A - Hazy browny-orange in the center, yellowish on the sides, pours an almost non-existent head that dissipates immediately and leaves a thin lace on the surface.

S - Like the bottle says, banana bread. It smells of banana milkshake or banana gum, with subtle notes of sweet, vanilla.

T - It starts with a watery taste, and then the banana hits you. Banana bread, then the bitter taste of hops and finishes with only the taste of bread.

M - Disappointing, it's watery and light, I was hoping for some smoothness as it is a "banana bread" beer, but no such thing. There's a little carbonation present, but not overwhelming, and the hops leaves a pleasant aftertaste that goes with the bread flavor.

Overall, an "interesting" beer, but not a specially good one. I enjoyed the banana flavor in this one, unlike the previous fruity beers I've tasted, but the development (I don't know how to describe it in a better way) was not on par with my expectations. I'd recommend it if you're looking for something different, and maybe buy it again, but not if there's anything better.

Poured from a 22-oz. bomber (I think) into a pint glass. About a finger of head. Color was honey caramel. Really liked the color. Light bubbly lacing that dissipated very quickly. No film on the sides.

Huge banana malts on the initial smell. Reminded me a lot of Circus Peanuts. A bit bready on the nose, too. That was pretty much it, but definitely seemed to be a reproduced smell.

Taste was better and more complex than the smell. Still got the banana malts and Circus Peanuts up front, but then came a more dry, bready, wheat flavor. Ended with a surprisingly bitter finish, albeit light.

Medium body. Creamy texture. Above average carbonation. Long, smooth watery finish.

Not a bad beer overall, but I’d say a bit disappointing. Would be a fantastic beer for Thanksgiving and not so much for now (April 27).
