In the larger 1pt .9 bottle. Good cloudy wheat beer color. Banana flavor didn't seem at all artificial to me. The bottle was nearer it's sell by date, weak foam head, and maybe that helped knock the strength of banana flavor down to normal levels? An enjoyable pint, but not one I'll have to buy again.

[Best served in a Nonic Pint glass]

The pour was a clear medium copper amber with a large (2-3 finger) white frothy head which receded to a thin film with a medium collar and produced somewhat fair sheets of lacing.

The aroma was exactly like the name implies "Banana Bread" with a light bread malt, a sweet doughy yeast and a large dose of bananas.

The taste was lightly malty sweet with a light hint of bananas throughout with a slight bitter banana taste at the end. The flavor lasted an average duration proceeding the swallow and was all about the mild banana bread taste.

Mouthfeel was light in body with a watery very mildly dry texture and a medium carbonation.

Overall this beer taste some what like described, a mild bitter banana bread. Although it was a bit weaker and much lighter in flavor than the aroma suggested…

Bottle into pint glass.

A- Dark brown pour, reminiscent of banana bread crust. Two finger snow white head with spotted lacing.

S- Full on bananas and brown sugar with vanilla. Close your eyes and smell the greatest loaf of bread ever invented.

T- Right up front sweet ripe bananas. Vanilla, brown sugar, almonds and a nice English beer base.

M- Lighter side of medium bodied, decent carbonation.

O- This was something that I had to try last year and found it to be just "okay" After gulping half the glass over the short time writing this review I've found myself to thoroughly enjoy it!
