Appearance: Murky orange-brown color with a small white head, modest slow-rising carbonation and good lacing.
Aroma: Prominent fruity esters, mild maltiness, restrained hops, these last being a little milder than I expected.
Taste: Upon tasting, delicate carbonation dances across the tongue, followed by sweet fruity notes, and solid caramel malts. Mildly bitter hops close out the taste.
Mouth feel: Quite smooth and pleasant.
Drinkability: Quite wonderful, find a comfortable chair, a glass of Ram Rod, and a volume of Dickens and pay a visit to the 19th century.
Serving type: bottle
