Pours out of the can a frothy glass of caramel, something like translucent toffee. The head is nice and creamy, about 1.5 cm.
Smells of grain, something like apricot. I think the aroma is the best thing about this ale.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, but a bit too much on the watery side of things for my tastes.
Immediate tastes put forward are a roasted malt and a bitter metallic finish. The whole things seems too watered down, as thought unsure of itself.
Not bad at first, but I find the whole ale gets downright disappointing by the time I've finished half a glass. Not my ale of choice, that's for sure.
Serving type: nitro-can
