Appearance: After pouring, it takes a while for the nitro to settle into the head. Immediately after pouring, the mixture looks a bit like stirred-up miso soup. Thick, creamy, off-white head settles on a clear reddish-brown liquid.
Smell: Malty, slightly smoky sort of smell.
Taste: A bit of tartness (from the malt?) up front, which quickly segues into a herbal hop bitterness. Neither dry nor sweet. Finishes with a bitter/floral aftertaste. Flavour is a bit mild.
Mouthfeel: Feels "full" if that makes sense. Creamy and slick, but not syrupy or heavy. Mild carbonation nips at the tongue, but quickly washes away.
Drinkability: Goes down unbelievably easy. I could toss these back all night long, but nothing memorable except for the smooth feel.
Serving type: nitro-can

Pours a dark ruby color and is covered with a nice and slightly cream colored head that stays around for a while.
Pleasant malty aroma, aroasted, and some nice caramel too.
The creamy beer has a nice bittery taste, some caramel here too and some coffee as well. Bitter aftertaste.
I used to not care about red beers, but now I have to say I really enjoy Kilkenny. Very drinkable.
