BB 09-03-07. Good presentation with nice white head that's foarming big bubbles fast but stays forever and a foggy bronze beer. Yes this is really good you smell as soon as you take a first snif, hops dominate with probably a hint of koreander behind it. Good maltyness with some wheatmalts and a overal very dry but still fresh impression. Taste is fine also that's as the smell sry, litle hay, alcohol and good and very fine bitterness that's well dosed. Great mouthfeel and overal fresh impression that's even busted by the enormous carbonisation this one has. Maybe it tempers the drinkability litle as the alcohol does but who cares if it is wonderfull like tihis one is!

A lovely golden orange in the glass with a spritzy, collapsing, bright-white head.

As it warms there's a strong impression of ripe orchard fruits with spicey, yeasty lemon.

The taste is strongly lemon candy, with spicey Belgian yeast, some wood, and a layer of pears and soft, ripe fruit. There's an ever-so-slight alcoholic warmth after the swallow, but the booze is not overly present in the mouth.

Carbonation is full and pleasant.

Overall this is an excellent and refreshing beer. It calls for a second one to follow it, and ultimately that's the great test for any beer - do I want another one?

Cheers!

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe (£2.79):
Hazy golden with a thin, foamy white head covering the surface well then eventually breaking up slightly. The nose is lively & floral with pear, light citrus & spices with apple subtle hops to finish without anything being being overly strong. The taste floral & slightly boozy upfront with pears, apples & various spices then a little banana towards the end. It's sharp & crisp with fine carbonation & a good balance on top of a medium, light bitter body that was quite floral too.

A - A yellow-brown hazy beer with a massive white head, but yet again in the end the head becomes fluffy.

S - Strong fruity smell with some pine mixed in.

T - Fresh and malty - very good hop presence in this one.

M - Medium carbonation, nice hop bitterness and a full body considering the style and the ABV.

O - A very good blond - nothing wrong here - if you can get it, try it! On a sunny day it is probably even better.
