Good glass presence: slightly cloudy amber; thick, cottony head. No aroma to speak of. Perhaps the lackluster bouquet contributes to a “wow” factor on taste. The beer is delicious, with classic Belgian yeastiness augmented by an altogether unexpected and richly complementary zest. Fulsome texture. Quite agreeable.

12oz bottle poured intoa de garre snifter glass.
Appearance: Pours a pale golden with slight haze and ample head with delicate lace
Smell: Strong yeast phenols, fresh baked sourdough
Taste: lemongrass and cracker malt leading to honey and syrup yeast notes, alcohol in the finish
Mouthfeel: Full body with a dry finish ample carbonation but is not overwhelming
Overall: I ordered this beer from Belgian shop, I enjoyed the Malheur 12 in Belgium and wanted to try this tripel from the brewery. Fantastic example of the style and has a carbonation very similar to duvel but deeper yeast character. Excellent beer that I look forward to enjoying on my next trip to Belgium.

Sampled bottle, RBNAG 2007 in Grimstad. ABV was 10%. Pale golden colour, fluffy white head. Surprisingly moderate aroma, slightly spicy. Fruity and spicy flavour, pleasant to drink, the ABV is well hidden, well balanced.

L- Quite pale gold, very light haze (most sediment left in bottle). Pours with c1Cm white head. 9ps 10mins later = it holds well)
S- Fresh and somewhat zesty, not what I anticipate from a '10%', not that that's meant negatively, it's just a surprise.
T- Following that is a deep, slightly rich yet bitter body. As I sup on I increasingly register the pungency here.
F- This is a hefty beer, with a fine balance between hopping, punchy body/richness and ABV%
O- Very nice, zero out of place or balance to note. It is a bit strong and rich and not something I'd choose to drink often, but now and again this hefty style of beer works well.
330ml bottle. BBE: 05/12/2021. Bought from BelgiumInABox in Antwerp/BE for home delivery to me in London/UK.

De Tercertiempocervezas. En copa Grimbergen. Viendo Wonderwoman con los niños (no tienen sueño). Suave en boca, con algo de sensacion alcoholica que no molesta y aun con ella se bebe muy rapida. Flojilla en sabor

Very fruit pale, with strong grapefruit and orange flavors, with banana, pear, black pepper, and floral notes on the nose. Taste is more grain forward, with less nuance. Feel is crisp and medium bodied however, brightening up the flavor profile a little.
