On-tap 10/2/11 at Doherty’s East Ave Irish Pub in Pawtucket, RI, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a medium white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is very faint but contains some Belgian yeast, some spice and fruit along with some light malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of fruit and spices followed by a nice Belgian yeast breadiness. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and the hops presence is mild creating a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, light-to-medium carbonation, finish is clean.
D: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a nice strong Belgian-style beer to drink for a while but there are better beers in the style.

Bottle, at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Honey coloured. Honey and spices in the aroma, quite nice. Flavour is rather sweet, some mild spices, but lacks "bite". Alcohol is evident.

A: The beer is somewhat hazy dark yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high dense white head that has excellent retention properties and never died down.
S: Light to moderate aromas of apple-like esters and yeast are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that there are notes of spices from the yeast and slight bits of sweetness from the underlying candi sugar.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this tripel to be easier to drink compared to others in the style. It seemed to also share some characteristics of a Belgian Pale Ale.

Imported from Belgium.
Somewhat weak for the style, ABV-wise, but it pours like a triple: bright, beautiful yellow, filtered with a wispy head and some rainbow streaking when held to the light.
Aroma is tame but well-balanced. Fruity malt, yeasty spice, with nodes of apples and cloves. The yeast profile is like a less aggressive Unibroue.
Flavor is likewise tame for the style, but well done. Bananas and sweet bubblegum up front, sharper fruits in the middle, and then coriander and white pepper on the back end and finish.
Overall, a well made beer, but nothing worth hunting down.

Look: Clear gold with rising carbonation bubbles. A half finger of thick white head with good retention.
Smell: Bananas, cloves, baking spice, bubblegum.
Taste: Mild sweet malt with a light toffee flavor. Very low hop character, almost nonexistent. Sweet aftertaste that develops a mild skunkiness.
Mouthfeel: Thick and creamy, with almost no tangible carbonation. It tastes flat.
Overall: A rather dull tripel, despite being drinkable.

De Decervecitas. En copa Grimbergen. Jugando a The Last of Us. Tripel bien hecha, de las que no importa repetir. En un futuro, claro, porque se sube a la cabeza un montón y dos seguidas serían embolia segura

L- Mid gold, very slight haze (and I see no obvious sediment left in the bottle), pours with 3mm snow white head that holds really well.
S- Very mild, just a vague hint of sweetness?
T- It has the spicy notes of a solid Abbey Tripel, followed through with some broad meaty pungency. The ABV despite being 8.5% is understated, or softly spoken, which is an achievement in itself. On the first sip or two I was wondering if this was at risk of being a touch sweet for me, but my palate adjusted quickly and now I'm fully enjoying it.
F- Quite rich, and you can sense the presence of the ABV% without it leaving any burn or 'zing' in the mouth. Very drinkable.
O- Understated for 8.5%, I sign of great brewing. Mostly trad in the Tripel style, perhaps initially a little sweeter than I am used to. I'd be happy to drink this again. Bought from BelgiumInABox for import to the UK.
330ml bottle BB: 22/07/2021.

Golden color with a huge thick head with eternal retention.
Slightly sour and yeasty aroma with notes of banana, pineapple and cloves.
Flavor with notes of cloves, white pepper, mild herbal hops, green apples, Belgian yeast, grainy and biscuit malt, banana, flowers and pineapple juice foam. Dry aftertaste with a mild to medium bitterness.
Medium towards full body with effervescent carbonation. Alcohol of 8,5% is very well disguised.
Some further attenuation or more hops would have done good for this fruity Tripel with decent complexity.

One of the best tripels in my opinion. A little sweetness to it but nice and creamy.
