Sampled on tap at Max's Taphouse (3/11/14)
A: Hazy copper. Decent lacing.
S: Sweetness. Light hops. Peppery.
T: The cask cuts through the heat and leaves only a lingering pepper taste. Not much of an IPA and a bit watery. Low hops.
M: Smooth. Low carbonation. Watery.
O: Maybe the cask killed it but this is a far cry from the best of this type that I've had, Stone's Ruination - Tropical Heat version. Can't wait for the Mint Chocolate Stout.

Brewhouse rarities for 2/XX/2014.
A - Looks golden brown with little to no head. Standard IPA look, hazy for sure.
S - Fruits and pepper. Sooo goood. If you like tropical fruits and hot peppers, this beer is godly.
T - Front of the mouth is tropical fruit all the way, It tastes like mango and grapefruit.
M - as smoothe as and IPA. Dry finish with fruit and pepper.
O - Very solid beer. Would drink again 9/10 beer in my mind. The pepper does an amazing job. Can't wait for more from Flying Dog.

This is one of the most unique beers I've ever had. Tastes great and leaves some real heat. A lot of beers brewed with pepper taste sort of like pepper, but this is one of the only beers that tastes very much like the pepper and leaves spice burn. For those who love heat, this is an amazing beer!
