A - Pours a pale orange with remarkable clarity (probably filtered) and a sudsy white head. Good lacing. Quite a nice looking beer.
S - smell is musty, yet bright. There's some tropical fruit and peach, but overall the nose is a bit murky and indistinct.
T - like the nose, the flavor of this beer starts out bright and fruity, but indistinct. There's a honey sweet center and copper penny bitterness running through it. Decent at first, but it gets much better as the beer warms and its flavors distinguish themselves. There's peach, grapefruit and just a little pine. Juicy, just as you would expect from Amarillo. Not as dry and boozy as other single hop IIPAs I've had from Flying Dog.
M - fizzy, medium bodied mouthfeel. Finishes really dry in a way that helps the hops shine.
Overall, this is a must-try for fans of Amarillo hops. Reminiscent of DirtWolf with its light, dry body with a lot of soft, juicy peach. It's plenty bitter though -- this one's for hop heads only.

Best before 8/12/14.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, brown sugar, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness and an alcohol kick on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is quite hoppy and boozy in the taste.
