One of my preferred session brews. AL is such a pathetic desert for craft beer that we don't have a wide variety of any given style. I'm certain there are less than 10 different APAs sold in this state right now. Of course i've sampled APAs we can't get in this state. All in all, this remains one of my faves. I'm surprised it doesn't rate higher here.
Anyway, i really like the malty balance in this one. It's nearly an American amber. Hops are very strong and forward but kept in check by the deep malt flavor.
I shall continue to go back to this one.
