On tap poured into a Flying Dog pint glass. It pours a medium copper color with two fingers of head. There's a bit of lacing left down the sides of the glass. The smell has mostly hops coming through, with just a little bit of malt character. It doesn't jump out at you too much. The taste is very well balanced. It's nice and malty up front, and the finish has the perfect dose of hops for a pale ale. The mouthfeel is decent for a pale, and the drinkability is great. I enjoyed this one.

P- Thanks to some friends for this beer
A- gold copper color that is quite clear with visions of alcohol in it. half finger head that leaves a water line mark on my pint.
S- grassy hops with hints of citrus. Some toasted malts as well.
F- grassy citrus hop flavor with back end toasted malts. a nice complement but the grassy tone tends to dominate. I would like the citrus to dominate the grassiness.
M- smooth and light bodied. hoppy taste in the mouth.
O- not a bad beer but like I said the grassy dominance tends to take it down a notch for me.

12 oz bottle was poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: This beer poured a one finger head that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pale orange color with great clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Citrus, grassy, pungent, pale, and toasted malts.
Taste: You get a nice dose of hop flavor here. Mild bitterness in the rear that compliments the toasted and pale malts.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, light bodied, crisp, a little chewy, refreshing, mild bitterness, and medium carbonation.
Overall: Nice pale ale that I haven't had in a while. Another solid brew from these guys.
