This brew pours a dark reddish honey color, with a beige one and a half finger head that lingers for a bit, leaving significant lacing. The beer is clear, but not entirely translucent. There is standard carbonation visible throughout. The aroma is hoppy, with suggestions of citrus. There is light malt, which smells faintly of straw, and some peppery spice, to balance it out. The taste begins with significant malty, grainy character. This, throughout the middle, washes with bitter, grassy hops, acting to balance the brew. The conclusion of the sip is both dry and hop filled. This leads to the aftertaste which, while mild, breathes as the balancing act of the flavors, with a sweet tinge. The mouth is left on the dryer side, without any notable coating. The carbonation is noticeable, and the body remains solidly medium. With relatively mild flavors, a respectable feel, and a standard abv, this beer goes down smoothly.

Overall, what we enjoyed most about this brew was its elegant appearance, its nicely balanced flavor, and its great name! The hops begin strong, but by the end of the glass tend to become less apparent, leaving you with a borderline mild brew for the style.

P- Thanks to some friends for this beer

A- gold copper color that is quite clear with visions of alcohol in it. half finger head that leaves a water line mark on my pint.

S- grassy hops with hints of citrus. Some toasted malts as well.

F- grassy citrus hop flavor with back end toasted malts. a nice complement but the grassy tone tends to dominate. I would like the citrus to dominate the grassiness.

M- smooth and light bodied. hoppy taste in the mouth.

O- not a bad beer but like I said the grassy dominance tends to take it down a notch for me.

12 oz bottle was poured into a pint glass.

Appearance: This beer poured a one finger head that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pale orange color with great clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Citrus, grassy, pungent, pale, and toasted malts.

Taste: You get a nice dose of hop flavor here. Mild bitterness in the rear that compliments the toasted and pale malts.

Mouthfeel: Smooth, light bodied, crisp, a little chewy, refreshing, mild bitterness, and medium carbonation.

Overall: Nice pale ale that I haven't had in a while. Another solid brew from these guys.
