12oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
Stout dark, expected more head from a brew with oats in it ... stable at that.
Roasted grain, burnt dark fruit, faint oat sweetness, and suggestions of coffee in the nose.
Roasty throughout, mild acrid tone as well. Hard to find the silky softness of the oats within this brew. Let alone raisins or any real balance. Bit of burnt juiciness in the middle which is quickly followed by more burnt overtones. Seems this one lost its path.
