Pours to a slightly cloudy, amber gold appearance. Foam forms and fades quickly, leaving some lacing on the glass.
Aroma includes hints of citrus and a slight green apple overtone. I might have expected to pick up more malt in the aroma, but I couldn't find it.
Taste is very light, almost on the crisp side. Some citrus hints, and subtle malt flavors. I can pick up very slight bitterness in the aftertaste, but I would hardly call this beer bitter overall.
Mouthfeel is light, but not watery. Some carbonation bite prevents a higher score from me, but certainly not a bad drinking experience.
Drinkability is very good. Easily sessionable, or good solo -- but I would recommend against following a complex beer with this one. Still, it is refreshing and tasty.
A nice, light Octoberfest/Marzen beer. Might get swamped by highly spiced foods, but would compliment more mellow dishes quite nicely. All in all, not the best domestic Octoberfest I've tasted, but quite enjoyable and refreshing.
