The pour was a dark red/crimson with a two finger head that quickly dissapated and left nothing on the glass.
The smell was heavy in malt and apricot scents with just a hint of hop spice mixed in.
The drink started kind of weak, meaning it took a while for the flavor to hit. Really almost nothing in the front, the middle was when the fruits and malt seemed to hit. With just the right amount of hop bite in the end and a clean crisp finish.
A very good Marzen, well worth a try. It was quite refreshing and I must say it went well as a stand alone, or with spicy food.
