A: Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass. Beer is the color of rose gold with a slight haze, 1-finger head, and a touch of lacing as you drink.
S: Bread notes, grass, light hops, some dark fruit (cranberry, cherry, pomegranate,) and grains are the dominant aromas.
T: Toasted bread up-front with a dry-hop middle and a bitter, fruity finish. Notes of cracked whole grain toast with sour cherry jam on top, dry pine needles, earth, sediment, brick, and a touch of dry hops are present. A clean, slightly bitter pomegranate finish leaves a nice presence in the mouth.
M: This has a good body to it that adequately matches the flavor profile: not too big, not too small. It feels a bit muddy in the mouth, but finishes with a fairly clean afterfeel that isn't uninviting.
O: Not a bad IPA. In line with the likes of Harpoon or Long Trail. Good if hops aren't really your thing, and you enjoy the hint at fruit, without there being any. Also a fairly decent session beer despite the 7.1% abv tag.

Amber color with a thick off-white head with medium retention and leaving laces.
Relatively light aroma of bread malt, subdue lemon citrusy.
Flavor is much more interesting. Notes of tea bags, orange peel, pine, lime, grapefruit, one notch more intense American yeast, some grass and flowers and a bit of papaya. Very dry aftertaste with a long lasting bitterness.
Light to medium body with perfect carbonation of tiny bubbles. I would never guess this is 7.1% abv.
Interesting that this IPA increases its bitterness throughout the degustation as opposed to otherwise. Felt to me as underrated, probably this is fresher than average and people get very picky in the US with so many good IPAs.
