Pours a crystal clear light amber with a nice white head that falls to a thin cap.
Aromas of tropical fruit, orange/grapefruit rind, light brown sugar.
Fairly hoppy. Lots of citrus rind and piney hops with enough honey/light brown sugar sweetness from the malts to keep it from being a total hop bomb.
Medium-light bodied. Hops give an oily feel but the carbonation helps keep the palate fairly clean. The hops do linger, but not for long.
Nicely drinkable. Very good flavors make this a nice drinker, but at 7% it would be difficult to drink all night.
A very good beer that I would recommend, but with so many American IPA's out there, it can get lost in the shuffle.

On tap at BWI airport
Served into a pint glass
A: copper with one fingers width of white colored head; head has decent retention and leaves lots of lacing
S: citrus rind, floral hops, faint tropical fruits
T: big bitterness with piney hops, citrus and subtle tropical fruits, malts to balance it out; nice hop profile
M/D: full bodied, appropriate carbonation, drinkability is good
O: well done IPA
Serving type: on-tap

12 oz. can poured into a Flying Dog goblet (no dating)
A: Nice copper body with nice head that recedes rapidly but leaves some lacing and a nice collar.
S: Sweet malt/pine with a great overall hop presence.
T: Light in body but with a solid malt and hop balance that is refreshing and easy-drinking.
M: Small rough bubble carbonation along the tongue.
O: This is great coming out of the can, which helps preserve the hops from the light. I'd rather buy an old IPA in a can over one in a bottle (or at least one with no date). Good enough, but they have better IPAs and beers that I would go after first.
