Pours brown, nearly black with a creamy 1/8 inch thick lasting head. Aroma is chestnut/strawberry jam. Easy to drink with a medium body category. Tangy aftertaste with a sweet caramel middle. Very jammy. Aromas of English breakfast tea and cinnamon appear as it warms. Balanced hops and malts. Could be a bit larger. Typical Flyingdog, weird yeastiness is present.

Those brown and dark red colors. Off white head 1/2". A lot more roast in the nose than I saw coming.
Taste, still more roast, coffee from the malt flavors. Nutty, caramel, toffee, coffee. Hopping is there too. A little dry finish. Not bad stuff. Assertive and bitter with all that other stuff going on. There's a bit of a scotch ale vibe going on underneath it all as well.
