Hazy orange. Wispy head.
Muted aroma of ripe stone fruit.
Taste reflects the aroma. Decent astringency. Alcohol is quite apparent.
Soft feel.
The date on the bottle suggests I did not taste it at it's best.

Notes
The beer pours an average looking foam head that dissipates at a moderate pace. It doesn't look bad but it isn't anything special that some beers manage to make it look. The beer itself is pretty decent looking. It's a clear medium gold color that is a bit on the lighter side of that spectrum. It's a good look but nothing super fantastic..
The smell is good.. It has combination of juicy and bitter with a light tart note. The plum sweetness found in the does not seem to be present like the peach and orange hop bitterness but there is a bready malt note giving off a bit of sweet to balance the other two notes.
The taste is good. It isn't super impressive but the notes are tasty. The taste has the same notes of a peach tartness mixed with a good plum sweetness that balances things out. The hop bitterness is present and still manages to give a nice orange bitter note to mix with the other notes to create a nice juicy experience.
The feel is decent. It's a heavy bodied beer but feels rather light with the biting carbonation. It has a nice smooth feel to it.
Overall, a pretty decent imperial ipa and one their better single hop series. It isn't mind blowing but it's good and worth a try.

This will be my first of New Beer Sunday (Week 596) and I have some DIPAs lined up for the occasion.
From the bottle: "Our Single Hop Imperial IPAs showcase the most rare and interesting hop varieties. Juicy stone fruit (think peaches and plums) dominate with a lingering, yet crisp, finish. We have a hunch you'll swipe right."
I Pop!ped the cap and let fly with an aggro pour which raised three fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, yellowish-white head with good retention. Color was Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) with NE-quality clarity. Nose was pretty intense in terms of its hops, but I was thinking more towards grapefruit. Mouthfeel was full, almost like a dollop had been placed on my tongue. The taste was intriguing and I would be interested to know the IBUs on this one. It had a sticky, resinous quality, but I fully agreed with their mention of peaches. Plums? Not so much. But oily, juicy peaches? Oh yeah! Peaches packed in light oil, let's see if that catches on. I like peaches. I had an Avery Perzik Saison the other day as further proof. Warming, the juiciness intensified, but so did the fusel alcohol burn. Peaches flambe! Heck of a way to start the day! I may power wash my front windows later, but that's the extent of today's adventures, so I should be okay. Finish was semi-dry to dry. There was just enough sweetness involved to put it right on the margin of dry, but still I want to say semi-dry. It was a good exercise. Jesus, I am sweating, either from the ambient heat & humidity, this beer or a combination of both!

Bottle dated 09-15-16 into pint glass. Pours a hazy gold with off-white hea. Initial impression is tropical fruit, nicely balanced by the malt. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Slightly bitter finish that lingers. Really good IPA.

Pale orange in color with a yellow hue and a heavy haze. Poured with a short, bright white foam with medium low retention. Medium resinous and lightly spicy hop aromas. Medium malt aroma with light dark fruit notes: prunes, dates. Medium bodies with soft, medium carbonation, a light creamines through the middle followed by a pleasant warming sensation toward the finish. Medium high earthy, spicy hop flavors up front followed by faint dark fruit notes. Medium maltiness beneath. Medium high hop bitterness through the middle that slowly intensifies to the end along with warming boozy notes. Finished semi-dryly with a lingering spicy hop bitterness. Hop aromas were a little on the light side as the malt/hop balance was pretty even. Nevertheless, the dark fruit and spicy character was unique. Flavors tilted heavily to the hop side, however the malt character was solid. Interesting flavors with the Ella hop.
