Poured from a 12 fl.-oz. bottle. Purchased at brewery gift shop. Best before day 95 of 2012 (April 5).
Appearance: Pours a golden, pilsneresque yellow with a thin white head.
Smell: Very grainy and slightly metallic. I believe, according to the Flying Dog website, this is brewed with a lager yeast.
Taste: Biscuity, bready, very pleasant! Everything you want in a golden (read: light) ale. Light fruity, almost strawberry flavor.
Mouthfeel: Light with a nice carbonation.
Overall: I am actually very impressed. A lot of lighter beers do not have this much flavor. This beer has not seemed to receive great scores from other reviewers, but for what it is, it should rate much higher.
