Pours a crystal clear (and I mean crystal clear) pale yellow with a thin snowwhite head. Smells grassy and lightly sweet, like white grape juice (although the grape smell is very faint). Some feather light herbal hops.
Grassy and lightly sour in the mouth. Some very light hops but enough to permeate the light body. Crisp. Mild hoppy finish with a lingering crispy sour bitterness. Ok, lingering is too strong a word but it's there. Uncomplicated and pretty refreshing I'd say. I am no kolsch expert but this tastes alot like the couple of kolches I've had in my lifetime. Not bad. A good lawnmower beer or chillin-on-your-backporch-in-the-hot-Atlanta-sun beer. Or maybe I just like it because it reminds me a bit of Ballantine. A bit.
