12oz bottle poured into Duvel snifter. Label stamped 279A11. What does that even mean? The best by the 279th day of 2011? Maybe someone can beermail me the translation. I haven't had many beers in this style so I'm sort of using light lagers as areference point.
Appearance -Hazy orange amber. Big frothy white head with low stick.
Smell - Musky hop. Very grainy. Some malty sweetness present when swirled.
Taste - Burst of flavor. Sweet. Alcoholic. Very well balanced. Clean finish. Slight bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Refreshing. Light but effervescent, so there's not any watery feel.
Overall Drinkability - Nooff characters. Well balanced and definitely not dull.
