To be fair this is not one of my favorite styles of a beer and Flying Dog is not one of my favorite breweries. I gave it a shot when i found it in the mix pack and was pretty disappointed. Poured a nice cloudy wheat color, looked great in the glass. It initially tasted pretty sweet and then turned to leave a gross taste afterwards. It kinda made me sick. One of the things that come to mind when i think of the taste is an almost metallic flavor. This one is not for me.

A - Deep golden in color and a little hazy. Off-white one finger head fades quickly.
S - Some banana, mostly cloves. Wheaty sweetness. Quite pleasant.
T - A lot more banana along with some other fruity esters. I get like a tart apple flavor. Finishes fairly dry with little to no after taste.
M - In and out, does not want to linger. Fairly high carbonation tickles the tongue.
O - I would say a fairly average hefe. It's good, very sessionable but not anything to write home about.

Long time no see; let's see how it goes under evaluation.
Hazy yellow orange color with short retention.
Aroma of vanilla, banana, pear, yeast, cloves, biscuit malt and wheat.
Refreshing and spiced flavor with notes of oranges, pepper, green apples, coriander, pears, lemon and nutmeg. Dry and a bit acid aftertaste.
Light to medium body with medium carbonation with tiny bubbles.
Interesting this felt to me more like a Witbier rather than a Hefeweizen. Regardless of classification, it is a decent and pleasant brew.
