wow! wasn't expecting this. excellent balance, definition, and intensity of doughy-yeasty malt, clove-smacked bitterness, and banana afterglow... later on, a delicate sweetness rolls on up in the finish

went quite well with the huge plate of mashed potatoes, white garlic-chicken sausage, with accompanying caramelized onions. more of a mellow, hazy-bright shine of lemon and orange esters emanates around the perimeters once I dug in...

gotta have more breakfasts like this!

they appear to have hit the mark here! - the look, the feel, the flavor... a mix between a Paulaner and Erdinger? either/or, it tastes rather German to me. I'd certainly hit this again when in a wheaty mood.
