Pours a clear amber color with an initially good head, but the head resides too quickly and doesn't leave much lace. Both the smell and the aroma are initailly winderul and hoppy but they end with an astringent-metallic note that kinda ruins the awesomeness of it. I'm usually not a fan a flying dog but this is their best beer I've had...still not great, but worthy.

A - Dark orange. 1" head that lasts a few minutes, with some lacing.
S - Piney and aromatic.
T - A very well-balance ale. A little sweet, piney, herby, hoppy. ABV is well-hidden.
M - Not much carbonation, but it's a very smooth and mellow feel.
O - a nice ale, quite drinkable.
