12 oz bottle poured into my Duvel tulip.
A - Served at 50 degrees. Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber with a short lived off-white head. Lacing clings to the glass after each sip.
S - Big hop citrus smell, with honey and alcohol and spiciness. This is a big nose.
T - Taste is not as big and pronounced as the nose. The alcohol is here, though. Not in an aggressive way, but it's noticeable. A nice balance of sweetness and hoppiness, with some earthy spiciness.
M - Full bodied. Moderate carbonation. Long sticky finish.
D - Tasty. Not what I'm used to drinking for a DIPA. Won't refuse one if offered, but not my favorite take on the style. This is big and a bit boozy. If DFH made something between a 90 and a 120, this would be it, but less refined.
