12 oz bottle poured into pint glass
A: Pours copper with one and a half fingers of tan head that dissipates slowly leaving nice lacing
S: Smells of piney, resiny hops, with some citrus as well. Some caramel malts are apparent as well as brown sugar.
T: Tastes of pine and citrus from the hops at first, followed by brown sugar, caramel, and breadiness from the malt. Finishes bitter with floral notes from the hops
M: Medium bodied with a slick, oily texture
D: ABV is too high to drink more than one, although taste says that you could. Definitely very drinkable for the abv
Overall, this is a very good DIPA, but it is kinda sweet though. I would have definitely preferred more bitterness, but this is quite good.
