Poured from a 12 fl. oz. bottle. Purchased from the brewery gift shop. Best before day 171 of 2012 (June 20).
Appearance: Pretty wild label art, the image even more so than the name (and I don't generally consider myself a prude, but as a consumer product, wow...) Pours a cloudy pale orange with lots of carbonation. Thick, billowy, cloudy white head. Nice.
Smell: Hoppy, floral bouquet mixed with sweet and sour Belgian yeast notes. Very aromatic!
Taste: Less hoppy and more Belgian pale ale-ish than expected. A nice, out of the ordinary flavor. Bready, yeasty with enough of a hop kick to make this interesting and flavorful. A little too much alcohol taste for my preference.
Mouthfeel: Creamy and smooth with a dry finish. Nice.
Overall: I am not a huge fan of Belgian pale ales, but this one brings an American IPA twist that makes it nice. I am glad I tried this and will definitely have some more in the future.
