A- Poured into a Hobrau Mug.
Light Amber in color with a Cream colored head of about 1 finger. Good retention on the head with decent lacing.
S- A sweet scent of citrus hops with a tinge of yeast at the end.
T- Bitter Hops is the forefront giving way to a slight citrus tinge and certain sweetnes from the Belgian yeast at the end. Definately more bitter than I expected from a 'Belgian Style' IPA. Very good the taste develops well on the palate and even as your take more sips.
M- To me its sort of an all coating creaminess to the mouthfeel which I enjoy.
O- Quite a good beer. Really enjoyed it. Good offering from FLying Dog. Im really starting to like their more uncommon offerings. Not that this is all that uncommon but its a good beer.
Had in a 12oz bottle on 8/5/11 (have had it before but never reviewed).
