Poured from a 12 fl. oz. bottle. Purchased from the brewery gift shop. Best before day 171 of 2012 (June 20).

Appearance: Pretty wild label art, the image even more so than the name (and I don't generally consider myself a prude, but as a consumer product, wow...) Pours a cloudy pale orange with lots of carbonation. Thick, billowy, cloudy white head. Nice.

Smell: Hoppy, floral bouquet mixed with sweet and sour Belgian yeast notes. Very aromatic!

Taste: Less hoppy and more Belgian pale ale-ish than expected. A nice, out of the ordinary flavor. Bready, yeasty with enough of a hop kick to make this interesting and flavorful. A little too much alcohol taste for my preference.

Mouthfeel: Creamy and smooth with a dry finish. Nice.

Overall: I am not a huge fan of Belgian pale ales, but this one brings an American IPA twist that makes it nice. I am glad I tried this and will definitely have some more in the future.

Poured into typical pint glass

Pours an orangish to burnt amber, small amount of whitish head that vanishes fast.

Pleasant aroma, a mix of sweet brown sugar with a hint of grassy hops in the background.

Like the smell, definite grassy hops up front, good bitterness, somewhat mild sweetness, detect some light sugary candy but the taste consists mostly of the hops with a definite alcohol presence.

First time I had this was on the golf course in the winter, it did a good job of keeping the blood flowing so I bought more to review. Poured into a pint glass.

A- pours an orange- copper color with a thick pillowy off white head that holds it's ground well after the pour. lacing is awesome.

S- pronounced citrus hops, tangerine, fresh grapefruit, a bit of pine, slight malt backbone and a bit of booze.

T- Clean citrus hops up front supported with a dry malty undertone, just enough to let the hops have the show. Finishes dry and bitter, masks the alcohol quite well considering it's ABV. Mouthfeel is creamy and velvety, thanks on part to the thick head that remains long after the pour. Very nice.

Overall, this is a solid brew, definitely for sipping. IPA's with citrus like hops are what I tend to lean towards and this one is a fine example. Can't beat the price either, I paid $7.48 for a six-pack.
