A - Clear amber with a two-finger head that stayed for quite some time after an aggressive (woops haha) pour. Awesome, heavy lacing going down all sides of the glass and some carbonation steadily rising from the bottom of the glass. Nice to look at, though I was expecting it to be cloudy rather than clear. 4.0

S - Strong floral, hop, and spice notes. Very Belgian scent to it. 4.0

T - Hrmmm. This one is hard to describe. Starts off with an initial bitter-sweetness tasting of apples and orange zest. Then turns into a very bitter, hoppy, and almost rubbing alcohol-ey after taste. It's pleasant at first and then takes some getting used to at the end. 3.5

M - Very smooth mouthfeel with medium-body and good amount of carbonation. I like the way they've lightened it by adding just the right amount of carbonation. 4.0

O - This is a solid beer. It's a little too bitter for me and I think the aftertaste is a bit wonky, but it's a solid Belgian IPA that I could sit down and drink a few of. 4.0

A: pours a clear amber color into a six sided pint glass with a thin skim of slightly off white head.

S: citrus, sweet citrus, and sweet tart fruits. Oh yeah and soft malts. Some caramel and tart apples.

T: some of the softer citrus fruits are up front, oranges and lemons. Light sweet malts mingle well, caramel and apples both sweet and tart baking apples. Some of the more intense citrus and tart fruits are in next, grapefruits, blood oranges and tart grapes. There is a pine like undertone to the beer and a pine flavor defiantly hanging on the tongue.

MF: its on the heavy side with a great effervescence.

O: an amazing BIPA and a great beer! I have no qualms with this whatsoever except maybe the head and head retention.

Had this on 2011-12-26 in Columbia, PA

A - Very clear, red-caramel with a 3-finger light tan head and good lacing.

S - Bready, Belgian yeast, hop floral, banana skin/band-aid,touch of pineapple, spice and some caramel malt.

T - Interesting combination of banana skin, , yeasty bread, orange zest and hop buds. Lingering yeasty-fruit and moderate bitterness.

M - Medium body and carbonation. Oily and a little bubbly.

O - This is on the West Coast side of a Belgian-American IPA.

Poured from a bottle into a Belgian Tulip Style glass

Orange/amber colour with a small white head

Great smells of hops, yeast, citrus, spices

Tastes hoppy, tarte citrus flavour of grapefruit, orange, lemon with some spices namely cloves, perhaps a trace of nutmeg?

Mouthfeel comes over as fresh, tingling with a dry and slightly bitter aftertaste

A most pleasant beer!

Pours a reddish orange, a bit hazy with a good white head. Leaves a little lacing and looks well carbonated.

Smell is funky, bready citrus, a bit orangy banana with some pine. Taste is grainy with a sharp bitterness and some more banana esters.

Mouthfeel is crisp and dry, very refreshing

Appearance: Nice foam head. Signs of carbonation. Golden color. Transparent.

S: Earthy/citrusy hops. Bread/grain scents.

T: Grain flavors followed by earthy hops and then a piney/citrusy flavor. Bitterness lingers on tongue.

M: Easy to drink, and a little dry at the end.

Overall: A very well done, balanced beer. Plus it comes with a pretty sweet label.

Recommended by a gentleman in Watertown. Wow. Cool beer. I read the bros review...but I must disagree. An excellent beer. Wonderfully rich hop aroma. Dry hopped for sure. Piney. Taste is interesting indeed. Huge hops with a spicy bite. Peppery perhaps from a Belgian yeast. So smooth with a rich mouthfeel. Gentle but lingering bitterness. High marks. Bros...try this again.
