Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a traditional pint glass.
Medium sized head that quickly disappears, leveling off to a constant but minimal presence. Golden copper color that is darker in the middle.
A robust hop aroma. A spicy floral smell from the El Dorado hops. Not overwhelmingly aromatic. There is a malt presence in the nose that indicates a well balanced beer.
Floral happiness upfront that mellows out as you sip. Spicyness with a lot of pine, earthy. Some malt sweetness balances it out. It is very smooth.
Smooth mouthfeel. Good body.
Very drinkable. Good to great Imperial IPA.
