Had this at the frist Junto Society meeting.
A - Pours a dark black with beautiful 2 finger creamy head. Head lasted to the last sip.
S - Lots of roasted coffee, light hints of chocolate.
T - Coffee, chocolate, roasted malt.
M - This was a smooth as they come. All the flavors complimented each other perfectly. Great full bodied beer that was rich and creamy.
O - I would drink this every time I saw it on Nitro. Super smooth great drinking beer.

330ml bottle. Snifter glass. Black color & brown foam. Creamy, thick & lasting crown. Roasted, toasted, caramel malt, coffee & fudge chocolate aromas. Coffee hues, toasted sweetness & slight herbal bitterness at first sip. Full body. Soft carbonation. Velvet & voluptuous palate. Cappucino flavor & slight spicy touch in the middle. Gentle & dry toasted sweet finish with dried sensation. Roasted coffee, bitter cocoa & licorice notes on the aftertaste. Delightful & flavorful. A big one!!

Poured into a goblet, jet black with a finger of light brown head.
Sweet coffee/chocolate on the nose. Roasty malts, maple syrup, leathery, but smells very sweet. Very mochaish.
Taste follows the nose. Bittersweet coffee and chocolate. Very delicious. Very slight booze afterburn. Simply a very tasty stout. Reminds me of Breakfast Stout (possibly my favorite beer).
Slick and sticky all at once. Lower carbonation which works well here. Coffee aftertaste is nice.
Overall a great example of what a coffee stout should be. Flying Dog is one of the first breweries I got into and this is a big reason why. If you love Founders Breakfast Stout like I do, you'll love this.
