A: Pours out of the bottle a nice clear yellow color with hints of brown towards the center. Bubbles race up to a head that doesn't last forever, but is white a frothy.
S: The IPA doesn't seem to be the focus here. Sweet, Belgian yeasts, candied sugar, and some barnyard funk. Certainly more farmhouse than IPA, perhaps that's why it comes first in the name!
T: Perhaps I held onto this one for too long as only some slight hop bitterness rests on the backend with some citrus notes. The saison is certainly more of a focus, but the IPA is certainly there. I like the balance, but I wish the hop presence was a bit more strong. Very sweet and slightly funky.
MF: The carbonation is solid as is the drinkability. The body is light and crisp on the tongue.
O: This beer was a nice experiment. I think they did a really good job of it. I'd love to try it a little more fresh!

Pours a hazy pale orange with a one finger white head, with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma has pears, Belgian yeast, citrus, cloves, and pale malts.
The taste is more bitter than I would have expected and has citrus, citrus zest, pepper, phenols, Belgian yeast, pale malts, and cloves. The proportions of the ingredients do not seem to be ideal, and this beer kind of seems like it was just thrown together, without much thought be given as to how it would turn out. Each sip seems to start sweet, and finishes overly bitter, with a good deal of citrus zest.
Medium bodied with above average carbonation, and an overly bitter finish. A decent beer, but if falls short of the best Belgian IPAs.
