Appearance: Clear copperish gold. Like apple juice. Nice, thick, creamy white head at first.
Smell: Grapefruit and pine.
Taste: Pine. Some citrus, maybe grapefruit. Bitter dry aftertaste.
This is great. The smell is the best part. The hints of grapefruit are beyond inviting. The taste is great as well, however, it's more pine than citrus. The aftertaste is very, very dry and bitter. Overall, this is a wonderful Imp IPA. It seems much more like an IPA though, and an excellent one. I would get this again.

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Deep clear golden body. Big white head. A few wisps and a medium collar.
Smell - Very malty aroma. Caramel. Grapefruit and pine hops.
Taste - Again lots of caramel. Grapefruit hops. Bitterness builds quickly. Big malt content.
Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Bitter. Medium carbonation.
Overall - Pretty good but tastes like most breweries' DIPAs.

12oz bottle. Crystal clear golden copper with a rich bright-white head. This retains with a frothy creaminess, leaving sticky sudsy lace behind. The aroma is a fresh blast of floral notes, grapefruit, pine and underlying herbal tones. Neutral malt sweetness sits along the back. This smells quite bitter in the nose. The taste is straight up zesty grapefruit, resins and herbal character. A bit of a malt backbone helps balance this but man; the bitterness on this really comes on strong in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and crisp on the tongue with more of a slick creaminess on the edges. The higher alcohol here is well hid, mostly coming out in that bitter finish. This was certainly decent. Strong hop flavors for sure but this could have used a bit more malt activity to help round out the corners. For $10 a sixer though, I’ll definitely be coming back.

Pours an orangey amber with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Nice lace retention. Pretty much exactly what a DIPA should look like.
Smells, in a word, "GREEN." Grassy and utterly dank. Fresh citrus and pine also come through. Again, pretty much what you would expect from a good DIPA, but the "dank" factor here is impressive.
Tastes, in a word, "BRIGHT." Fresh, juicy hops at the forefront, bringing pine and tropical fruit, lemon and even some soft peach. I've gotta believe there is some Citra involved in this hop bill, as mango lies squarely at the center of the flavor profile, along with some light caramel malts.
Mouthfeel is soft and somewhat chewy, with ample carbonation.
Overall, a very nice, fresh, bright, fragrant DIPA that bursts with tropical fruit and doesn't get carried away with the bitterness. Although it doesn't necessarily bring anything mindblowing or innovative to the table. A solid value, especially if you live close enough to get it super fresh.
