I've toured the brewery 2x and enjoyed both very much. One of the better brewery tours and samplings I've been to. Great tap room vibe afterwards. A must visit for anyone coming through Frederick. (199 characters)

No food and no frill but a cool little tour, a glass, and 5 "samples" of whatever they have on tap. Good chance to check out new beers that may be released and possibly buy some swag or a growler of beer all for a very reasonable price. You may want to call ahead and schedule your tour. just down the road are a few food places. (329 characters)

Good tour with nice information about the history of the brewery. Great value with five 3oz tastings and a glass for $5.

If you every find yourself in or around Frederick, MD at the end of the week or Saturday, and have an afternoon to kill, the brewery tour at Flying Dog makes for a nice time. While the beer production part of the tour is fairly standard, discussion of brewery history makes this tour worthwhile. In addition, for $5 you get five healthy 3oz. pours and a glass. Along with the regular and seasonal beers there are a handful of brewery only offerings (Agave Nectar, Ginger Beer, and barrel aged Gonzo when I was there). The tasting room is on the small side and might get crowded for larger tours. The gift shop is small, carrying mostly t-shirts, decals, flags, and beer. Plenty of parking. (811 characters)

Hard always to review breweries. Usually they are very good in my experience.
Tour here was very good and interesting(even if you have been through many brewery tours). Free tastes at the end. Good selection of there beers to try( pretty much all of them they have made recently). This is always a good thing. Staff is friendly and engaged. (341 characters)
