A. Poured a clear copper color with a short one finger diminishing head. Not much lacing on the glass.
S. Sweet malt, caramel, straw, leaves.
T. Sweet and malty, not much hops here, the flavor is malty caramel, slightly soapy finnish. May have been the glass though.
M. Medium to light body, fizzy carbonation, short duration.
D. Ok at best, but not my favorite at the brewery. I will probabaly not try again.

As all beers at this brewpub, it is served in a regular pint glass. The beer is a red-copper with a off-white head. Nice lacing.
It has a light aroma of breads, grain and caramel.
The taste tracks the smell. It is slightly sweet with some tea and caramel notes. There is a grainy type taste in the finish that reminds me of Ritz crackers. This accomplishes its mission as a cross over type beer.
The mouth is very sharp with high carbonation. Not a bad beer. It was served a bit to cold and the high carbonation makes it tough to session.

copperhead amber ale - hazy copper beer with light sweet malty aroma (overpowered by smell of onion rings at the bar). starts slightly sweet, nutty like almonds. mild but distinct bitter sticky hop bite eases back into maltier finish - Will picks up more astringency. fairly light body. tried on tap @ brewery on 6 Jun 2009.
