Poured on tap into a pint glass. Pours straw with a tad of red with a small white head. Smells of piney hops with a touch of citrus. Tastes of some malt with sharp piney hops. Beer is light bodied with good carbonation, finishes real nice. Overall a very good beer.

In my neck of the woods this beer is on tap all over the place, so iv'e had my share. It pours a rich golden color with little head. It has some lacing that can be seen sip after sip, but nothing crazy. Bitter hop presence is found backed by a timid sweet malty backside. Very earthy smelling beer that reminds you why its label is green. A very refreshing APA that doesn't separate itself from the pack too much, but enough to deserve a spot in your fridge or cooler for a hot summer weekend. They didn't screw this brew up.

I sampled this beer in a blind taste testing with 4 other APA's (Zombie Dust, Daisy Cutter, Hopalicious, and Moon Man). It was pretty obvious to not only myself, but the other 4 tasters that this brew was by far the weakest. I think some of the imperfections might have been hidden a bit if they worked a little harder on the hop schedule and amped it up a bit. And where did they hide the 6% at? I would have guessed it to be about 4.8% based on taste.
Otherwise this one is a swing and a miss.
A side note - I refuse to rate appearance so every beer gets the same score as overall. Smell and taste are the only things that truly matter when rating a beer.
