Poured from growler into ranger pint glass. Small amount of head though still perfectly carbonated.
A - opaque and amber, small head, tiny bubbles
S - sweet and malty, no hints at bitterness. I cannot smell any floral hop aromas
T - good well balanced ipa. Starts malty with nice hoppy bitter finish, reminds of a hoppy red ale.
M - good carbination and hoppy flavors dance on my tongue, bubbles are sassy
O - good drinkable ipa, not extrordinay but still quite descent. If I wasn't such a snob I would probably rate it excellent.

Pours into a nonic a clear deep copper color with a nice looking sticky white head that leaves a full ring of lace as it settles slowly into a frothy mass. Not much hop presence for an IPA in the nose, mild leafy hops along with caramel/biscuit malt.If this was categorized as an APA it would get a high ranking from me but the hops just are not big enough all around here.Biscuit malts with caramel sweetness with a leafy almost minty like "herbal" hoppy finish. Not a horrible beer but the hop profile is lacking for the style.

On the side, I see its notched "November."
Into a pint glass:
A: dark hazy amber colored body with a two finger white foamy head that settles to a film coating the top of the glass and as it goes down a decent amount of clingy lacing appears
S: starts out with a slightly herbal, earthy somewhat minty flavoring and as it warms there's a slight tobacco I do get, all of this combines into a bitter sort of way
T: mainly bitter as she goes down, the same earthy yet herbal aftertaste that leaves out the mint and tobacco, dry finish
M: light to medium, slightly sessionable - maybe, carbonation tries to coat the mouth and tongue, but mainly settles around, it doesn't seem like it has enough harshness for an AIPA, but then again, this did come out in November
O: for the most part, not a bad AIPA, but nothing spectacular, perhaps I would seek again fresher
