I poured this from a 12oz bottle into a clean pint glass.
Appearance: Little to no head to speak of, very light gold color when held to the light and few carbonation bubbles. No lacing to speak of.
Smell: mostly hops. Some pine towards the end.
Taste: A good balance of hops and malt. The bitterness is certainly there but not as bitter as you might expect from an IPA.
Mouth feel: very clean and smooth but not very robust.
Overall: This beer really suffers from lack of head and color in my opinion. However it is very refreshing and not overly bitter for an IPA. I think I might buy this again but not overly impressed.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass in high elevation Libby, Mont. Bottled in January. Reviewed live.
A- One-finger white head. Large bubbles and very thin lacing. Extremely long retention. 10 minutes in and it is still strong. Honey color with particulate. Medium clarity.
S- Floral hops, some earthiness as well. Dank and wet smelling.
T- Bitter and surprisingly boozy. Metallic. Strange, sour and yeasty.
M- Heavier feel for the style. Meh.
O- This is a strangely dank IPA. I'm not really a fan of it.

12oz bottle with no date. served in a mason jar
look is golden orange with lots of fine suspends sediment. spotty head and lacing hold back an otherwise beautiful beer. smell is weak: barnyard scent with some skunk and strawberries off in the background. taste is fishy, literally and figuratively. barnyard taste and floral/grassy hops. feel is light, with a pleasant lingering bitterness.
decent but forgettable; needed either more malt or hop presence. gave me some nice floral hop burps, tho.

Appearance - Pours a hazy golden amber with an off-white, finger width head. Average retention. Lacing is thin, somewhat spotty, with good stick.
Smell - Predominant caramel aroma. Hops hit on citrus and floral notes, but are very, very subtle.
Taste - Ahh, there's some hops. Starts with caramel sweetness, then a moderate amount of hops peak through, exhibiting mostly a sweet orange citrus, with faint floral notes. Finishes bittersweet, and with nice balance.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, with moderate carbonation. Somewhat creamy. Smooth. Very drinkable.
Overall - IPA? Not quite. Most APA's these days show more hop bite than this brew, though it's quite drinkable all the same. Might be a good IPA for those looking to get into the style, but this isn't going to wow any hop heads.

Pours a hazy orange-ish to yellow color with an off white head. In the aroma, a mellow pine hop. In the taste, citrus rinds of grapefruit, and a pine like end. A hop bite and a medium bodied mouthfeel, with a dry orange and a small grapefruit citrus to pine hops in the aftertaste. Nice hops, kind of faint, about average.

A: Pours a hazy orange amber with a small amount of dense white head. Enough of a film retains to leave thick walls of lacing.
S: Floral hops with just a touch of citrus. Lightly malty.
T: Mild almost watery malt sweetness leading into a fuller finish of grapefruit-like hops.
M: Light to medium body, fuller towards the finish.
Overall, just decent. Not bad, not outstanding. I'd drink it again but probably wouldn't buy it again.

22 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled Jan 2012(we will see how this goes). Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention; that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Some good soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, biscuit, caramel, pineapple, pine, floral, and light herbal. Nice aromas with good strength and balance; maybe a touch too sweet. Taste of grapefruit, orange, floral, biscuit, caramel, pine, honey, and light herbal spiciness. Fair amount of herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, caramel, biscuit, pine, honey, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a short bit. Very good balance of malt/hop flavors with bitterness; no cloying at all. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy and crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPA. Nice hop flavor balance with malt sweetness; and nicely smooth and crisp to drink. Very enjoyable.
