This is a night club, so it's always really loud, they often have a band inside or outside and they do have some outdoor seating which can be nice when it's good weather. They've got a mix of BMC and local beers, but often they'll run out of their best craft beer early (I've seen DFH on tap a couple times but it's always kicked) but they've always got Magic Hat, Long Trail and Switchback so you don't have to go thirsty.

It's not a good place to just sit down and enjoy a beer because it's a night club.

Crowded, pop bar without much by way of craft beer.

On a weekend trip to Burlington, we chose this place because two of our friends work as waitresses (hence the 5.0 for service). The selection was very good and the atmosphere would probably be better had we gone earlier in the night or on a weekday night, but alas it was Friday night at 11pm. The beer selection was great! I love the VT beers that they have on tap at the bar. Magic Hat to Long Trail to Otter Creek, but fresher than I can get it in CT. The prices were reasonable and I found the service to be good, but I would stay away from when it turns into a dance club because that kind of ruins the beer loving atmosphere in my opinion.

They had on all four Magic Hat year rounds, Otter Creek VT Lager and Copper Ale, Switchback, Sierra Nevada, Anchor, Guiness, Newcastle, Stella, UFO, and a couple others I can't remember. I asked what they had for Vermont brews because I couldn't make out which Otter Creek was on from my vantage point. I could see the VT Lager though, and was shocked when the bartender only mentioned Magic Hat beers as from VT. They have a hand pump, but there never seems to be anything available on cask. This place is right on church street and in the warmer months seating on church st and in the alley makes for good atmosphere. Good place to see the Grippo Funk Band weekly.
