Served in a Tumbler Pint

Eyes
Poured a clean brown body with a nice mahogany glow. Towering, bubbly tan head. Rings of sticky tan lacing throughout.

Nose
Citric hops up front. Mild backbone of grains and sweet bread.

Mouth
Juicy hops hit the tongue first. Herbal hops broke out as the bitterness gained steam. Sweeter notes of biscuit, caramel, and grains cut through the bitter hops, finishing this brew out semi-dry. Medium-bodied. Moderate/light carbonation.

Overall
Clean, drinkable, and refreshing. My biggest complaint was the lack of wheat... I just wasn't able to pick it up. Regardless, tasty beer.

Poured from tap (new keg) into standard pint glass here at Two Bros Scottsdale. 1/2" head, dissipates slowly, lace sticks high up on glass, just a hint of caramel color in the lace.
Color is a deep burnished copper, clear, no haze. Served perhaps a little too cold, hard to find a nose at first. Someone who handled the glass before it was served had a fragrant lotion or perfume, makes it a bit hard to figure out which is beer and which isn't. After a while, it seems there's a slight malt note up front, hop finish.
Typical carbonation, not unusual, remains even 10 minutes into the tasting.
A pleasant beer, would have this again. Good for those who are acquiring a taste for the hoppier side of the beer universe.

Appearance: Dark amber in color with thick white head. Extremely dark for a wheat beer. Good Clarity.

Smell: Hoppy, citrus, light dank, light ammonia, tropical fruits.

Taste: Surprisingly light. Light malty sweetness, a little bit of chocolate. Similar hoppy characteristics as the smell.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, crisp, medium carbonation.

Overall: Unique take on the style. Decent hybrid, but I would have liked a little more pronounced wheat characteristics. Good enough to drink again, but I'm not sure I would seek it out.

Appearance: Brown, ok head.

Smell: Citrusy, mild.

Taste: Moderate citrus bitterness with a little bit of roasted malt and toast flavor.

Overall: Comes in a 12oz can and I like to support dark wheat beers, so I gave this a try. It's pretty forgettable, mostly tastes like a pale ale with a little more roasted flavor to it. Not particularly wheaty.
