12oz bottle poured into a tulip (closest thing I have on hand to a weizen glass at the moment)
A: Pours out a honey tinted yellow and topped with a thick and cream two inch head that fades a bit as the beer goes along but retains some remnants of its former glory.
S: Less of that heavenly bubblegum and clove and more focused on a slightly floral, but generally "banana-bready" kind of aroma.
T/MF: If the aroma was lacking in bubblegum it certainly isn't in taste, that coupled with the above mentioned flavors of banana. No real traces of clove or other hefeweizen familiars but still pretty serviceable in the flavor department. Mouthfeel is quite solid, very robust and rather filing but not to the degree that it feels heavy or slick, an interesting feel indeed.
D: As far as the style goes I've had better, though it is not often I see six packs of hefeweizen available from many breweries so if you have a taste for this stuff in larger quantities and at a pretty affordable price it is hard to argue against this stuff.
