Poured from a 12 oz. bottle. Left a big, classic hefe-weizen head that eventually receded to long lasting surface skim, left some lacing. Body was a cloudy yellow gold. Looks very good.

Smell - some bananas, faint cloves, and hint of creamy wheat. Aroma is of a classic hefe, just rather muted, but still good.

Taste - creamy wheat, some subdued spices, mainly clove. Again rather subdued, and not quite a classic hefe, but good nonetheless.

Mouthfeel - moderately full, creamy slickness, and oddly, semi-dry.

Drinkability - the muted, subdued quality of this doesn't exactly make my mouth water. Still, it's decent, not bad, just not great either.

Cloudy lemon yellow like color to it with a fluffy thick all day lasting white head. Aroma has soft clove mild lemon and banana tones as well, not in your face pretty subdued. Flavor has some chalky yeast notes, with a bit of fruit mild banana, citrus tone with a clove finish. Acidity presence brings a tart quality about it, dry powdered yeast slap pack notes. Mouthfeel is light airy not to effervescent with carbonation, decent mix nothing offensive on my palate. Drinkability is solid a nice summer beer not super German hefe, but more so than the average American wheat.
