Pours hazy pale orange with a one finger white head that dissipates quickly.

Nose has notes of banana clove and citrus phenols with a backbone of wheat and straw like malts

Yeast is upfront and is dominate. Hints of citrus are present before it finishes with wheat on the back end.

Light and refreshing. Carbonation doesn't last long but is good while its there
Overall this is a good hefe with a good amount of complexity and a healthy amount of yeast. Very drinkable.

Poured from the bottle into a wheat ale glass.

A muted yellow and slight light brown edged body, opaque in appearance with a good amount of carbonation. Head is bleach white, and very creamy growing almost three fingers tall off the pour, and settling to a nice whipped up thin puck.

Classic Hefeweizen nose, with minor lemon but a very good bubblegum sweetness. Chewy and fruity with a very solid malt wheat backbone. Real nice inviting sweetness on this, very nice.

Palate has all the trademarks of a good hefe, but it's a bit watery and fleeting. Light chewy wheat density with good bubblegum like sweetness. Clove like finish with a good wheat like bread sense on it. Lemon notes hinted on the nose are quite muted, with a nice simple chew.

This is pretty solid, just missing some body that would give it some good depth, but it's a nice stateside produced hefe to know about.
